About me
Maddie Sharpe (she/her) is the Downtown & Development Librarian at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Having transitioned from Director of Lake Region Public Library in Devils Lake, she now oversees the downtown branches of NDSU Libraries and advocates for the Libraries' development at the local and regional levels. Maddie is currently President-Elect of NDLA, as well as Co-Chair of the Communications Council and holds seats on a bunch of other councils and committees, she loses track most days. Maddie holds her MLS from Emporia State University, a BFA in Musical Theatre and BS in Music from NDSU, and half a Master of Music from Oklahoma City University in Vocal Coaching (it doesn't really count but the student loans were sure real). She is mom to the world's coolest almost-four-year-old and lives with her partner and his daughter with their five animals in a way-too-small-for-that-many-animals-and-also-kids house in Fargo.
