Join EDI/LGBTQ2S+ Committee Chair Montana Ackman as she combines peer-reviewed research and lived experience to show you the unique needs and challenges facing your local LGBTQ2S+ community members. She will explain how tabling at local Pride events allows libraries to build trust with our local LGBTQ2S+ community members and why it is so important to meet them at their point of need. She will also share practical guides and helpful tips as well as resources created by the EDI/LGBTQ2S+ Committee with the goal of empowering YOU to go forth and confidently meet your queer community members at their point of need by tabling at your local Pride event!

There will also be a Q&A at the end of the session as time allows.
